Fraction Dials

Fractions always seem friendlier when they look like pizza slices. Here is a friendly and intuitive way to add and subtract fractions. These paper disks slide together and rotate to reveals the fraction of the disk showing. Set the two disks to the fractions you want to add together and read the sum off of the bottom disk. With these dials, you can also see equivalent fractions and the need for common denominators.
